Is Your Delonghi Milk Frother Leaking or Failing?

Most of the time, when a DeLonghi milk system starts acting up, people assume the whole coupling or the milk jug itself is toast. But check the ring first.

Common signs that this part needs to be replaced:

• Milk is splattering: Instead of a smooth pour, the milk comes out in bursts.
• Weak froth: The suction isn’t there because air is leaking through a perished seal.
• The “Error Occurred” message: Sometimes the machine detects a pressure leak in the DeLonghi milk frother system and simply stops the process.
• Visible wear: If you pull the frother off and see that the green seal is flattened, cracked, or missing, it’s time for a new one.

5-Minute Installation Guide

1. Remove the old seal: Use a small pick or even a toothpick to gently pry the old, worn seal off the coupling.
2. Clean the area: Before you place the new one on, give the coupling a good clean to remove any old milk residue.
3. Slide it on: Roll the new DeLonghi green o-ring product into the groove. Ensure it sits flush and isn’t twisted.
4. Test it out: Pop the frother back on and run a milk cycle.
