Scale is a surface build-up of minerals that naturally occurs over time in all appliances that involve the heating of water. Therefore, your steam generator will require regular descaling. In a small jug, add 1x 6g descaling tablet to 1 cup (250ml) of water and wait until dissolved. Refer to steam generator, instruction booklet for further information on how to descale the unit.
